The Crispa Redmanizers won their finals series against the Toyota Tamaraws, 3-1, for an incredible 20-1 record, the Redmanizers' streak was snapped at 19 in Game 3, following Toyota' 97-94 victory which saw the ouster of tamaraws coach, Fort Acuna, at halftime, when Don Pablo Carlos, Jr. didnt like his benching of Robert Jaworski in the first two quarters, Delta President Ricardo Silverio, in a statement supported the dismissal of Coach Acuna. Crispa Redmanizers leads by as much as 24 in the second quarter of Game 4, and weathered the last-ditch stand by Toyota in the fourth, to prevail before a huge crowd turnout of 25,000 at the Big Dome.
